Media artist Micky Remann is professor of Immersive Media at Bauhaus-University Weimar, where he has been teaching fulldome classes since 2006 and is always eager to create learning experiences beyond the confines of academia. He co-founded the Jena FullDome Festival in 2007. Award winning productions from Bauhaus students have been presented to the international fulldome community in Jena and at fulldome venues worldwide.

Micky's current focus is on the convergence of digital dome projection and real acting, exploring the potential of Immersive Fulldome Theatre as an innovative genre. He directed "Kometentanz" in 2014 and now prepares "Hotel zur Blauen Blume" as a multimedia Fulldome Theatre to premiere at the opening night of this year's Jena FullDome Festival, May 27th. Micky Remann invented "Liquid Sound", an immersive underwater experience, installled at three "Toskana Therme" thermal baths in Germany. He is cultural director for these venues and producer of themed entertainment events in, under and around the water. He reminds us that "True immersion is incomplete unless you get really wet."
