Lance Ford Jones

Lance Ford Jones, Adjunct Faculty in the Film Department at the Ringling College of Art and Design. Former Research Associate, University of Illinois, Chicago, College of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. Former Director of Intermedia, Independent Programming Associates. Lance has taught art and design for the past twenty-five years including 2D and 4D design, Web Design, Computer Programming for Animators, Sound Design for Film, Time-based Interactive Art using Max/MSP, and Creative Coding using the Processing language. He is co-founder of the annual Cosmix Immersive Media screening, now in its twelfth year. Over the past thirty years Lance has collaborated on various artworks involving programming, electronics, stereoscopic imagery, video, computer animation, music composition, and performance, including numerous short works produced for fulldome. Exhibitions include SIGGRAPH; State of Illinois Gallery; Dot Pixel Image/The Electronic Design Association, Jena Fulldome Festival, Domefest, FulldomeUK, ISEA, Currents New Media Santa Fe, MORPHOS Los Angeles, and the Macon Film Festival.
